How does having families work for people like us?
Will he/she be Otherkin?

Though I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet I have 10+ symptoms and i just have a feeling that I'm carrying my Mate's child ya know... Are my feelings on the situation something I should trust? How certain can I be?
Ugh I have many questions so if someone could reply with some advice and answers that would be fantastic.

Blessed Be!

My response to Selene's inquiry:
Selene,
there are no worries. Honestly with what some of the members have provided as information they are pretty accurate and correct. Having family's of our own works the same like anyone else. It's not like just because you are Otherkin or Otherbeing means that your children are going to have extra limbs, or shoot lazers out of their eyes, etc. I think you're worrying too much dear. There is a possibility that you being of a certain former kin types could influence the baby in a positive and negative way, but for the most part while they are still in the womb there should be no issues what so ever and it's going to be just like any normal pregnancy. When they are out of the womb then it can be a completely different experience but typically that being that is born to you is meant to grow and learn with you.

Will they be Otherkin or an Otherbeing is up to how you raise them as far as beliefs go, if you teach them to have an open mind and open them up to such an ideal then maybe some self exploration may reveal to them what they were/are. That is up to them to figure out though. So just be mindful and don't force such things is all I advise.

I hope you've taken that test by now Selene. I hope all is well and that the baby is still doing fine and well. Be well, love, bright blessings, and good fortune.

It works like every family does on the surface. For the second question, its really well a shot in the dark if he/she will be otherkin. My mom is an otherkin, shes has 2 other sons besides me, and im the only otherkin. Alaws trsut your feelings, they are there for a reason.

Thank you.

I have another question:
I love the father and trust him completely but I have never told him that I am otherkin. Should I seeing as it may have certain implications regarding our child? Actually, I believe he is otherkin also but isn't aware of it yet and would understand when I explain it. Yet I'm afraid to tell my love what I am after being scoffed at by others I have confided in. *ugh*

Your welcome. Thats a question that you need to ask yourself. If you think he is otherkin as well, then, maybe do a past life regression medatation with him.

this is going to be a hard question to answer. Because I know that it some ability skip generations or will skip a family member during birth. As if being the youngest male in my family and the abilities of the craft has skip my two oldest brothers but have fell upon me. But I see this being a blessing being the youngest of the two. But I do feel that in the Lord and Lady see fit for your child can begin to do with your abilities or even a greater ability they will see to it and give you the knowledge and wisdom to teach and guide your child down the path.
