Hey guys, I know I'm late. Lots of crazy stuff happening in preparation for my big move to Florida. Ye-ah, don't ask. But I did want to wish you all a happy belated Yule Tide and New Year/World Birthday!

Honey I doubt there are going to be very attractive males I will find south. Not to short change you my friend or Victor, but...I'm under the skewed/bias impression many people that way don't have an IQ above average. So...conversations with others will indeed be boring and I may have very little suitors to pick from in any case. And since young men half the time aren't brave enough it seems (except for one particular breed) I won't be directly flirted with much I'm sure...unless I'm looking for it, aware of it, or just flat out ignore it because of how goofy the person sounds. I'm not going to be looking to get into another relationship after this very soon anyway. I figure I need time and space to get over all this crazy stuff and just focus on my novel, spiritual studies, and training.

Not trying to be shallow or anything about it but seriously if I hear a single guy try and use YoYo/Yo-Boy on me I'm going to most likely laugh in his face and if a guy approaches me and all he can remotely come up with is, "Madam, you're as lovely as mayonnaise oozing out of a spam sandwich," or something of that remote nature, it's going to be hard to take anyone seriously.

..... forgive m, but i am a very proud person and i feel the need to defend my wounded ego.

1.) i never at all said anything about emediately finding a new suiter, only that they will be here when the time is right.

2.) i have lived here all my life so i know that there are enough charming intellectuals around here! Florida is NOT ANYTHING like Louisianna! we got the sae wildlife sure, but our rednecks and Gs are not as common as regular people. so allow me to be frank when i say i'm honestly offended that you would make such a bold claim a sto know what kind of people live in my emediate area better than i mysel, who spent 19 years here, does!

Forgive me Twilight but I've known individuals who lived in Florida for years themselves, trying to break into the Goth scene and the like. They seemed to indicate there weren't that many interesting or intellectual people of that manner in Florida.

Thank you for clarifying, but as I believe I stated this is my retreat move. I am not moving to find love. Right now, my heart can just take a freak'n back burner as far as I'm concerned. Just sick of being rewarded with nothing, especially empty words, and hollow promises and I'm not saying Lunacin has ever done that to me. It's mostly been others.

*nods.* i just don't like to have my pride shot down is all... i hope you understand? i grew up in a southern setting, with all teh influences, but my mother raised me and she's northern....

It's understandable but if you didn't notice before I did say, "No offense," to your and Victor. I know you're both from there so. I just realize where I'm going it may not be the best environment for me intellectually unfortunately. But I'm still going to make the best of it for the few people I do meet worth my friendship and the like.

yes, i know.... iii-_- anyway, i just want you to know that there are people and places there that can realy stimulate your intelligence. it is just that you hav eto look for them. believe it or not, such things can hide in the most unexpected places.

Well there is a club I'm planning on checking out down there. I guess they have Goth nights on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I'm highly interested in what it's like considering I've never had the opportunity to be in that kind of environment just yet. I'm excited to possibly go to my first Goth bar/club. And of course there is always the Library's. My sanctuaries as well as general book stores. Thank the goddess for small favors in life. XD

XD yes indeed! i'm usualy the only person to not have drugs when i go to the goth night here in g-ville on fridays.... though i do get lots of alchahol.... i like to be heavily buzzed when i go dancing.

I love being just buzzed enough I typically have to concentrate. XD lol but I haven't been dancing when buzzed. Always figured it would hinder my creativity considering I dance from the rhythm and what moves me, what I feel I suppose is how I can only say it.

i do too, but i just feel like i'm limiting myself out of my own self-consiousness. so i remove that inhibition. ^_^ hurray for freedom to dance! ^.^ i still won't dance to something that just doesn't move me.

Likewise, I am stubborn the same way. For instance, most rap - I just can't dance to. The beat isn't quick enough. I like quick and fast paced beats.

most rap, yeah.... it isn't danceable. it would have to be specially designed for dancing. i suppose the exception is breakdancing and crumping, which are dances specifically designed around the sparse beats of hip-hop. hm.... but yet club-rap is full of more layered beats and synth, perfect for dancing. i think i just realized an interesting topic of speculation!
