| So right now people have trouble remembering we are here because for some unknown reason many of our warning system features aren't working. I have unfortunately no control over these that includes notification and pop-up windows for new private messages. You're just going to unfortunately have to check those on a "As you remember" basis. Sometimes the icons take their good old time to change to new, which is why I tell people don't look at those but look at the dates next to those topic sections/categories. Sometimes it's just better to open the categories up and read what's there in case you miss something of interest. In all when I realize people are missing out on some awesome topic discussion that's when I send out a newsletter with all encompassing new information and some old but still relevant as well. Right now I try to keep it to monthly, quartly, or annually, but mostly right now as an "As Needed" basis. Last thing I want to do is annoy you guys with all my silly newsletters in case you get annoyed with them already (cause no one's given me feedback about them yet, please do guys! Your opinions do matter!).
So in light of all this, in order to make sure you guys are reminded this place is here and what is going on, would you like me to do a Newsletter like every three days, once a week, once every two weeks, on a triquarterly basis (every 3 months), Annual basis (every 4 months), or once a year? It's up to you guys. Or do you feel the "As Needed" system is working just fine. Tell me what you guys think!

| if i may make another suggestion... that perhaps form a sort of set-aside discussions thing? like, organize to have an at-large discussion group for an important topic of the week or month, and then have it discussed in smaller specific groups based on age and gender and religion/path peramiters? and from there, break them down into comoumd-specific smaller groups? like a zen diagram. here is an example. the forum at large. the guys the girls the grade-schoolers the middle-schoolers the high-schoolers the college students the graduates or otherwise done with school the christians the satanists the wiccans the traitional witches the pagans the druids the atheists the new-age healers the grade-school guys the high-school girls the pagan college student guys like that. ^_^ since it is a forum, those falling in the three or four categories that they will fall into can be in them all at once anyway. it's easy. ^_^ i suppose that sounds pretty big for such a small forum, but another idea is to have this as the small forum, and still have a larger one that we could have bannrs for, and advertise and try to attract alot of peopel to. that way, this kind of arrangement could fit. | |

| That's where I'm just skeptical of how affectual that would be. That could be absolutely great for publicity, while it could be a complete risk and possibly lead to failure. While I understand risks are needed at times, I'm not especially in a big mood to try and start yet another group/forum. On Gaia I was half contemplating turning the old Roleplaying forum I had into a spiritual/metaphysical group, but I wasn't sure that was a good idea. I still felt the Roleplaying Society was important, but it seems there isn't a big interest for those, except with those that are already well established. It sucks when you're small and you're having serious trouble getting your feet wet.
But right now, we need any activity. To try and pull something off like what your talking about would take a miracle. Even with the newsletters I send out I hardly see any marginal increases in member activity after doing so. So I definitely think it's a bit too soon to try something like this.

| I'm sorry hun, I don't mean to. I'm not a reckless person really anymore though. I think my way through things these days, least I try. I'm used to trying to do everything myself that I want the honor of figuring out the solution to the problem without outside help if possible, but I don't believe in this case that I will get that. | Like I've stated before, our numbers are just a bit too few. If I saw more people making efforts to visit and post I might say we could try something like that, but right now you and me are doing most of the interactions at this point....What's the point in debate people if you do not post? Just a thought. | |

| That is why I have friends. I was hoping if enough of my friends knew about this place they would know others that would be interested to and could recommend it to them. I was hoping more for the "Word of Mouth" concept than having to rely on banners and such. | |

| ^_^ word of mouth does work greatly. i have alreday convinced another member to join, Angel, who is my Slave Rebecca's boyfriend and Slave. he got on just the other night at my request. i later that night Ordained him so he could be a member of my clergy. | |

| That is very cool and is something I was hoping to highly rely on. Victor was complaining of not really knowing anyone here and I told him the point of a forum is to get involved in discussions and such to try and make new friends and find where you stand with yourself on an intellectual and social scale, at least that is how I view it. I find it amusing, you have clergy, I have guardians. I hope to eventually have priests and priestesses in training under me as well, but I am not yet quite a truly good priestess myself yet and I do not intend to ordain anyone unless Luna instructs my senses otherwise. | |

| Well once I get my power cord for my printer I plan on getting ordained by the 'Universal Life Church". ^_^
You feel called to establish clergy while I look at it as gathering supporters and like-minded individuals together to start a brand new positive movement and cause in building a temple/place that will mean true growth for the mind, body, and spirit. ^_^ Similar goals I just word things differently. ^_-

| heheh. *smirks.* indeed. i am realy happy to hear of the big step you are taking, will you be gettiing the official title of Druid, or is it notworth the 12 -25 (can't remember exactly) that it costs to get the certificate? i personally suggest the wallet credentials, that is what i got. it a card so it feels right and won't have to deal with hanging or framing a piece of paper or getting it lamenated. | |

| They've got that somewhere? I thought you'd have to like go into a special office or something to get that fixed, cause I was actually thinking either Druid or Priestess for title. Then again if I get the temple built I'll technically be the Grove Mother which would be sucky if I did not have that title on paper/record. lol XD But I didn't think The ULC offered that. | |

| they do, just go to their online shoppe. after all, they tell you to go their after you get Ordained so you can purchase your credentials and hav ethem shipped. it would be a good idea to then purchase any equippment you may need, or any title you may want to be known as instead of Reverend. as much as i like the sound of Rev. Zachery C. Hall myself, i know i'll prefer Dr. Zachery C. Hall, or Rev. Dr. Zachery C. Hall. so when i get the money for that i am going to buy the Doctorite of Divinity. i didn't at the time cause i wanted to give it time till i felt truely qualified for that much. i'm odd like that, i know... heh...
now anyway, you can get both the certificate Credentials AND wallet credentials if you like, or, for the best amount of influence simply your wallet credentials and certificate of title, be it Master of Wicca/Jedi Knight/Doctorite of Divinity/whatever, or just the Honorific title of whatever you'd have. in this case, the Wallet Credentials and Certificate of Title as a Druid.
