| Thought I would share some of my poetry. I know people could check out my gallery for it, but...what's the chances of anyone actually seeing the link? So I would like to share what I can. I have learned from many famous poets and learned the famous styles we all know and are familiar with and have even written some poems in those forms. However, I have a philosophy about all my artwork. In the beginning all my instructors have told me, "Art is about freedom of expression". If that is true there are no rules to how art should be and is, it is merely your expression of an idea or feeling. So I say learn all or as many of the rules as you can before you break them. My poetry reads very differently so I apologize if it's a bit off to you. Some of these works still need tweeking and some just need to be read out loud by my voice. Enjoy what you can. Note: Since some of my works need some critique I will tell you which ones and I'd appreciate Feedback being sent to me via PM. Thank you. Poems that Need Critique: The Storm Way of the Druid Blind, Deaf, and Dumb In case anyone is truly interested the gallery link is: Lady NyghtshaydeEN's Gallery

| Subject: The Storm Tue Apr 08, 2008 9:05 am | |
| Hark! The time has come my brethren!
Do you hear the trumpets of fate call in the ether?
To arms we go but what we fight I do not know.
Will we fight kin? Brother or sister? Friend or foe? again I do not know.
Those who wish us harm I'd rather fight one by one or as a horde they will come.
So raise your weapons high and let them hear our cry for tonight we fight as one body and mind.
But one question still remains would you join us and fight for the lady?
Or would fate have you fight against me my friend, and rend my heart asunder?
The ladies love is endless and resolute
all she asks is for your acceptance.
Take a chance on her? And be with us? Or serve an uncaring deity.
No matter the choice that has been made I'll accept our fate.
Whether you are slain by my hand or at my side guarding our ideals.
Like the lady you have all my love
And no matter what happens this storm will come.
But take heart in knowing that as you draw your final breath my love will still radiate for you like the sun.
And will honor the memory of you my friend.

| D.O.B: 10/14/07 Notes & Things: I would love to have some feedback on this one for sure. The title is still one I am working with. I've come up with other titles such as "Path of the Druid," or "Druid's Path," still not quite satisfied with what I have though. Even though I tweeked this piece when typing it up (as I always do) I would like to see if anyone has any ways for me to possibly improve it. If so please PM me a note of critique specifying the poem. Thank you!
-Start of poem-
I am of an ancient peoples who has long since cease to be.
I follow a well-worn forgotten path laden with leaves.
I exist beyond this realm and exist within it. I exist in a place that is not a place a time that is not a time.
I am a child of the lord and lady I am the physical vessel of my lady as I watch my body shift into the phases of maiden, mother, and crone.
I follow a path that has been battered, war-torn, and stained with the blood of its own brethren.
I value friendship, love, honor, and carry a torch for art and nature.
Like the mighty trinity I have three disciplines to study, that of the ovate, bard, and priest.
The All-Father is our strength within us all carefully guiding our path when all seems lost.
The Goddess is our shield. We find comfort in her warm loving embrace. Illuminating the darkness so we may see the way.
I am a Druid. Proud of who and what I am. You shant see anyone as stubborn as I in defending my spiritual pride.

| What can I say? No mortal words can eloquently put what my soul screams for me to tell you.
How do I show? Love is all around me and I know for it resonates within, outward.
I can convey my thoughts and feelings with fairly great ease
however I seem unbearably incapable of truly painting how I feel.
I thought I wrote and strummed it well enough for you to see and hear.
However it seems to fall on deaf ears.
You either chose to listen or it went one ear and out the other.
You may have read it but did you truly comprehend? Or merely glossed over?
Perhaps it is you who simply do not understand the gravity of the torment that I bear within, for both love and sorrow.
Yes, I do bear that burden for both our sakes.
And believe me when I say no one loves you more then I nor sheds more tears then I for you - my sweet one.
So say the words I long to hear let not fear temper you from your ardent task at hand.
Before time passes us by without a second glance even if there is no sand left within the glass.
Say the words that set my heart ablaze and free our souls forever from this tormentive cycle.
Give me that peace at least.

| What is this word, love, you speak of? Is this emotion truly worth my devotion? The word reminds me of a mourning dove. Tis the name of some poisonous potion. To separate leaves behind an incredible wound. It is deep as a gash in the floor of the ocean. No matter how many times you may be wooed, Tis always still the same harrowing emotion. Walking along a path, you happy pair, Leaning over whispering sweet nothings, Swinging hand and hand with such a happy air. Never knowing this is an all for one short fling. ~~~~~~I really do hate this terrible emotion so, ~~~~~~But still, I find myself enjoying the flow. | |

| Title:Immortal
Must I heed the call? Must I obey?
When all I ever get is nothing?
Tell me this pain is all worth something
and I will make my way
I feel the darkness creeping closer
And I watch the shadows consume all.
I ready my mind and body for what lies ahead
But must I heed the call? Must I obey?
Show me tell me is this my sign?
I am of a greater light
and I will make my way
to the field of battle where it is I am a servant I must obey.
My blade will cut down this unseen foe
should I fail my body will be engulfed.
But my soul shall light the path
where all immortals shall make their way as I have done before.
And they will know us when they see us
They will know our purpose and sense the power within
For we are immortals and we are forever.
This is our finest hour
it is now we make our stand!

| Title: We Stand Alone
I stand before the gates of time
Empires come and go still I remain alone
I have lost my way back to paradise
Sword in hand sundered wings my only pride
Show me the light teach me the way
So I can take these broken wings and learn to fly again
What components do I need to repair the damage done?
Take my battered soul give it rebirth
Each of us stand in the blackness
as stars unto the night. In this vastness of it all
we stand as silent sentinels guarding the blissfully ignorant
In this we come to know our purpose
And we know we stand alone.
When the time does come for war to be waged
it will be in that moment we realize we stand alone.
